Funded by The Heritage Lottery Fund, the MGS Heritage Horizons Traineeship Programme will provide the opportunity for 20 non-graduates from a range of backgrounds to attain an SVQ Level 3 vocational qualification in Museums Practice alongside workplace learning during a 12 month paid placement, 2nd February 2015 – 29th January 2016, in a host museum.
MGS is now in a position to start recruiting for host museums and we are holding a Host Information event on Monday 6th October 2014, 2pm-4pm at Waverley Gate. Please note Host applications must be submitted by 13 October 2014 at 12noon and successful applicants will be notified by 24th October 2014. If you are concerned about the timescale for the application, please do let us know.
Trainee recruitment will take place from the end of October with interviews on 10 – 17 December 2014.
