If You’re Not In It You Can’t Win It

There’s just one more week to enter for the Museum and Heritage Excellence Awards 2012, there are 11 categories to apply for so there is room for everyone . Previous winners from Scotland include the National Trust for Scotland who won best permanent exhibition for The Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, Glasgow School of Art bagged the Winstan Bond Trophy for the Entrepreneurial Attraction/Museum of the Year. Kilmartin House, MGS for Remembering Scotland at War and Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum were all either shortlisted or highly commended and this was all just at the 2011 awards.

So, if you want to be part of the ‘Oscars of the Museums World’ get your entry in by Friday 10 February.
