This blog has now been live for seven months and the time has come to do a spot of evaluation to see if it’s doing what it was set up to do – namely provide us at MGS with an additional way to converse with members about developments, opportunities and other ‘stuff’ happening within the sector.
So, I’m asking you to help us out by completing the blog evaluation survey. It is after all only by hearing your views that we’ll be able to improve and develop it. Here at MGS we’re enjoying the opportunities the blog offers for us to all to speak about what we’ve been up to but we’d love to hear more from those of you out there reading it. The survey is brief but in addition to the quantitative questions there is plenty of opportunity for you to expand on your thoughts on how you would like the blog to develop. You can complete the survey at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/FGV69J8 (by June 18 please!). If you would prefer to give your feedback by commenting direct to the blog, that’s fine too.
On a slightly different but related topic, I wanted to alert you to the ‘Getting Digital’ Roadshows which are currently happening under Amb(IT)ion Scotland. I went along to the first one at the University of Abertay in Dundee and found it a useful combination of speakers and presentations with hands-on sessions and opportunities to network. The project is supported by an online network with lots of resources, details of events and opportunities for online collaboration. Further roadshows are planned for 27th May and 10 June in Stirling and Edinburgh. To participate – in person or online – join the network.
