Last Friday (29th Oct) I attended the annual Conference of the Sustainable Scotland Network held at Our Dynamic Earth and found about 250 other delegates including local authority councillors and officers, environmental voluntary organisations, Government folk , trade unionists and private sector businesses. Very thought provoking – alarming statistics and failure of Governments globally to wake up and smell the coffee, but also messages of local action bringing hope. But this is only if we begin to address our individual and collective emissions NOW……….
